CHILDREN
As a family church, we put special care and attention into our children's ministry. We want families to Worship together, so children stay with their families until after the singing then leave to go to Sunday School, where we will continue to share with them and teach them the Love of Jesus, whilst they are in the Kids Ministry.
CALVARY KIDS MINISTRY
CalvaryKids is our children's ministry that runs every Sunday during the service. Run by a group of (DBS checked) experienced and dedicated leaders & volunteers, CalvaryKids seeks to support the work of parents in teaching the children the truth about Jesus. This is done through music, crafts, games, stories and teaching... all while having a great time!
CALVARY KIDS AGE GROUPS
To ensure the children are engaged and enjoy themselves, whatever their age, CalvaryKids is split into different age groups:
Explore: Reception -Year 2
Pursuit: School Years 3-7
YOUNGER CHILDREN/ BABIES
We have an unsupervised area for parents and young children, that aren't yet old enough for Calvary Kids. Toys will be available and the service will be live-streamed to this area
CHILD PROTECTION
All our children's ministry volunteers are required to undergo appropriate training and a DBS (background) check before they are allowed to work with children. We are members of Thirtyone:eight (Christian Safeguarding organisation) and have a full Thityone:eight Policy in place.
